I started up a server at pc.stephen3.com:25566 and I've noticed that after using the "restart" command, soft restart I guess, I can't join and end up with Disconnected by server, timed out. You can test now if you want. It's running on my 24/7 closet server. I'm using the unofficial windows nightlies by the only guy who does nightlies.

Oh and no mods whatsoever.
Hello, welcome to the forum.
That is mostly weird, because your server does respond to the serverlist pings, so it is *not* deadlocked. Any message in the console that would hint at the problem?

Is that a Linux or Windows server? If it's Linux, could you generate a core dump and send it to me, together with the executable? (tutorial in https://forum.cuberite.org/showthread.php?tid=631 ). Read that tutorial through and try to provide as much info as possible. There's no such tutorial for Windows, yet; however, you can download the freeware Taskinfo application from iarsn.com and right-clicking the MCServer process will let you generate the memory dump, too.

Btw, there's two of us doing nightlies, I'm doing the Windows ones, Bearbin is doing the Linux / RasPi ones Smile

Thanks
Oh I said unofficial windows nightliesTongue I'll get a mem dump in a sec.
Oh, sorry, I must have missed that Smile
I made 2 dumps. The first one is with nobody on or anything:

The second is during the 25 second timeout period while I was joining, so if that helps to see what the server is hung up on:

Wow, good thinking, thanks. Which svn revision is that? So that I can match it to the PDBs.

I'm going home now, hopefully I'll get to the dumps in the evening.
It's revision 1598 I'm 99% sure. Couldn't find an actual rev # but theres one zip of it in my downloads and the zip says 1598.
Nothing. Not a blip. The entire thing seems like it is working alright.
Got rev 1602 and still the same. Works fine until I soft restart with the restart command, then I time out. Does the dump give any indication what the server was waiting for? Some response from the client maybe?
