Full Version: How long does the newest build take to compile on a raspberry pi?

Im sitting here waiting for it to complete...for 3 hours....and its still not done...FML
its overclocked to 1000Mhz....

- How long should this take??

Buts its more of a chat..
I think this depends greatly on the SD card speed. On my Pi, even without overclocking, it used to take about 2 hours to compile.

You can use my buildserver if you want, no compiling Smile It's in here somewhere. Tigerw's autoupdate script hooks into it if you want to use that.

Do you mean 1000MHz?
'Cause I have heard that a very high overclock on the Pi can make it actually use a low frequency.Tongue
