Good day!

The MCServer homepage is severely outdated - the download links are all from two years ago linking to precompiles from google code, the source links to google code, the Mac download doesn't link to any .dmg file, and the bug tracker links in the forum and homepage need to be updated as well. Oh, and the 'test server' hosted by FakeTruth seems permanently down. If FakeTruth doesn't want to host it any more, I wouldn't mind having the server in my signature as the test server.

Also, is FakeTruth going to remove the google code repository now that everything is on GitHub? It is sort of unused nowBig Grin

I propose making Bearbin's continuous integration and xoft's nightly builds official as well.
Seems sensible. It might even be good to move it to github pages - then anybody can contribute.
Lol 2 years...

Anyway I would love to update all that stuff but I'm still on vacation in Korea so it'll have to wait a couple of days
Uhm, there's no MC server in your signature, there's just a web server (http).

Well, if we're gonna make it the official server, how about making it also the official source for user-generated content? I mean, for the stuff that we'd like to add to the generator, such as village houses, or custom trees. how about dedicating one world to this stuff? It would need some plugin plumbing written first, though - an AutoPlots plugin, and maybe a PlotSaver, either combined or in a separate plugin.
It is a MC server as well as a website - try joining Smile
What do you think about the gh-pages idea for the homepage?
I don't realy like the github pages. I realy like the current home page for its simplicity.
The homepage is indexed by Google and listed high (last time I checked) why lose that by moving it to github

Do you know what gh-pages is? It's basically free web hosting for your project and you can put anything on there. It doesn't have a github theme or anything.

If we did use gh-pages, we could probably keep the current page by cnaming mc-server.org to MCServer.github.io
So http://www.hcraft.org/ and http://c-raft.com/ are not gh-pages?
But why do you want to change to gh-pages if its just a hosting service?
The website runs fine for me. Not every thing has to be Github related right? Wink
