Anyone tried it? I went to install on a new PC, and found this abortion today.

Wouldn't even run.

The new launcher is using Lava as well, I think he just wrote a little C++ program to load it faster.

You can still download the old (Java) launcher from the minecraft homepage's download page. Direct link: https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Downl...ecraft.exe

Same launcher as always, isn't it. It will just fetch java and the msi file will install a shortcut. I quite like it, actually.
