I have my friend trying to join my server from his house. I have no-ip server ip set up to my network ip and when my friend tries to join it says connecting to server and then it says it cannot connect because of a "timeout" of some sort. I dont remember exactly. 

Can anyone help?

cookiecake.serveminecraft.net is the no-ip i have set up going to my ipv4 address on my home network that my server is on.

This sounds like more of a no-ip or port forwarding problem. Did you set up port forwarding on your router with port 25565?

I did not ._.
And I also do not know how to set that up
