It should be similar to vanilla (though the new command blocks aren't implemented yet), but one major difference is that Cuberite uses the console commands for command blocks. This is a big limitation, but it's not a priority at the moment so it's unlikely that it will be fixed anytime soon.

Currently you can only use command blocks with Cuberite if you connect with a 1.8.x client.

I tried that and my client crashes almost instantly and if it somehow doesn't crash it's super buggy. Not much of a programmer myself, so i will sit this one out.
