i created a building script. if you run that you will download and compile MC-Server but you must have tortoisesvn + its commandline installed (picture [Image: 31I6E.jpg]) + Micrsoft Visual express 2008.
thanks to this script its just one click to download and compile MCS.

Quote:http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads.html
tortoisesvn must be installed in:
C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN

microsoft visual express 2008 must be installed in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0

but if you have a 32bit version of windows you need to install it in:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0

Download: http://code.google.com/p/mc-server-build...loads/list
Neat!
Sorry to disappoint you, but such a script is already in the svn, it compiles the nightbuilds. I don't remember the details, though, and I'm not at computer to check.
but then you need to download the svn first. this script downloads it for you and compiles it Smile
maybe is this usefull for newcomming people or if you want to compile the newest version of MC-Server.
Which reminds me, we might want to release some version as an official release. It's about time...
