You just need to be patient. You will find that most people who make custom server software haven't released 1.6 compatible builds yet. If I'm not wrong there was a lot of changes to protocol and general code in the minecraft client.. on top of this, FakeTruth has a life outside of the internet so you just gotta be patient and give him a break

It is definitely compatible with 1.7, although naturally lacking any related features.
