(1.8) - NiLSPACE - 11-26-2014 Well.. Who was using 1.6? All it pretty much caused is bigger code. RE: New minecraft version. (1.8) - Boo - 11-26-2014 i use 1.5.2 :-( RE: New minecraft version. (1.8) - NiLSPACE - 11-26-2014 But why? Is there a specific reason? RE: New minecraft version. (1.8) - fankins - 11-26-2014 Before adding the Protocol from the new version that is completed before the end of the old. RE: New minecraft version. (1.8) - xoft - 11-27-2014 We still do multi-protocol support, and we try to support as low as possible, but those old versions were too different and supporting them was becoming too much of a burden. It was holding us back too much, so we decided to drop the oldest protocols. They were too buggy anyway. I don't plan on dropping the 1.7 protocol any time soon, we'll try to keep the server compatible for as long as possible again. Mojang has become somewhat conservative in their protocol changes so it's easier to support multiple versions nowadays. RE: New minecraft version. (1.8) - NiLSPACE - 02-20-2015 Minecraft 1.8.2 is released RE: New minecraft version. (1.8) - xoft - 02-20-2015 Any changes in the protocol? wiki.vg seems to be down |
