RE: Attempting to compile for ARMv7 but stuck... - worktycho - 01-28-2015 Thats not a change we can pull upstream without serious modifications. One it sets the flags inside SetFlag.cmake. rather than in the set_lib_flags macro, which is not the way the rest of the build system expects it. Secondly, it would seriously impact debugging on all gcc like compilers. And finally it would probably break MSVC builds. RE: Attempting to compile for ARMv7 but stuck... - DiamondToaster - 01-29-2015 They are pretty awesome. Too bad that your device will be obsolete at the end of that month tho cause they keep making new ones. And I would stay away from hacking the SetFlags file like that, I'm not a CMake expert so I just stuck that in there and hoped it would would work. RE: Attempting to compile for ARMv7 but stuck... - worktycho - 01-29-2015 Don't worry about it. My points were more directed at xoft as to why we shouldn't expect a patch for this. RE: Attempting to compile for ARMv7 but stuck... - DiamondToaster - 01-29-2015 Ok, it would be cool for a future ARMv7 patch later in the future though. Hopefully someone can get a board like that and test it out. |
