[Suggestion] World Generator - Erall - 05-29-2013 Hey everyone. Is it possible to change the world Generator of this server ? I mean, to make it again because I think this one really suck : very different from the real Minecraft version, can't you copy the Minecraft's one, or Bukkit's one ? I know this is quite difficult, but I hate that World Generator RE: [Suggestion] World Generator - tonibm19 - 05-29-2013 See this: most minecraft-like terrain world.ini RE: [Suggestion] World Generator - xoft - 05-29-2013 And which one do you mean? Because there are several generators and they have lots of settings, so it might be that you just have the wrong settings. We cannot copy anything from MC nor Bukkit because of both legal reasons and language reasons. RE: [Suggestion] World Generator - Erall - 05-29-2013 Ah okay, I didn't take care of the world.ini too much. The default one was making unpleasant things (to me). But it's okay, I still think you should make improvements on it :p [Edit] About Bukkit's one, I guess you can easily translate it from Java to C++ am I wrong ? RE: [Suggestion] World Generator - xoft - 05-30-2013 We cannot copy or translate the code, because Mojang has copyright to it. And correct me if I'm wrong, Bukkit is just a bug huge mod and uses the original Mojang code underneath. So it's the same situation - copyright, copyright, copyright. |
