Actually, I tested that and it has no noticeable effect on the CPU, but the storage grew drastically, so I re-enabled compression on the Gallery server. I think we should remove the bad default of zero compression. Thanks for bringing that up.

What do you recommend on the raspi ? 1 or 6 ?

RE: Best way to profile on raspi - xoft - 07-04-2014

Gallery is running on "6" and it runs okay.

On another note,
On the pi i keep getting
-- Could NOT find OpenSSL, try to set the path to OpenSSL root folder in the system variable OPENSSL_ROOT_DIR (missing: OPENSSL_LIBRARIES OPENSSL_INCLUDE_DIR)
The server works fine.. but is this something i might need or ?

RE: Best way to profile on raspi - xoft - 07-04-2014

That's normal, I'm getting that on Windows, too.
It's PolarSSL, our SSL library, trying to find OpenSSL so that it can regression-test itself against it.
@worktycho We've forked the PolarSSL code to our own repo, didn't we? We should be able to tweak this to get rid of this message.

Yes. I could probably patch it out. You might want to open an issue in github so I remember.

Just overclocked to High, Turbo fails so.. added heatsinks.
And i am staying below 50c so seems nice Smile. when doing
time echo "scale=3000;4*a(1)" | bc -l
btw.

What is best way to see avgr chunk generation speed ?

Edit:
I talked to soon it seems, even after stopping benchmarking temp did not drop.
And it seems temp just keeps rising even when doing pretty much nothing.. might be the casing though no air vents.
