RE: Microsoft oficially buys Mojang... - tryy3 - 09-16-2014 Personal preference: Microsoft haven't really been that good, they tend to set too many licenses and limiting people to what they do, and they tend to do what they want. They also tend to put everything into 1 place (windows 8, xbox one etc.) with out knowing the community. On the other hand, Minecraft is a big game, a bit community, and they buy Mojang for a lot of money so I don't think they dare to change too much. But I like that Minecraft is being sold, Mojang have done a great job at keeping Minecraft up, but it's starting to get bad, I have several people that lost interest in vanilla because they don't usually add interesting stuff. Don't get me wrong, they added a lot of interesting stuff lately, like command blocks and what you can do with command blocks, but it shouldn't take that long for a update to happen, there is mods out there that added better and more stuff in less time then Mojang so they might need a change. So I have hopes that Microsoft will make Minecraft better, but at same time I have a lot of negative thoughts on Microsoft, so only time can tell.
