World Test Suite - johansenj - 09-17-2014 I was wondering if we wanted to work on building a flat world in game test suite for things such as redstone and rail; if so, what would be the best solution to integrating it into the development environment? RE: World Test Suite - xoft - 09-17-2014 I think @worktycho is working on an even better thing - he's decoupling the redstone sim from the rest of the server, so that unit tests can be written for it and it can be tested out independently. RE: World Test Suite - worktycho - 09-17-2014 Some integration tests would still be useful. Its going to be a while before I get around to decoupling the rail code for testing. However, making the tests changeable, and how to test something worked are still the biggest problems with setting up integration test. RE: World Test Suite - johansenj - 09-18-2014 is there a way to generate a flat world for the server? RE: World Test Suite - xoft - 09-18-2014 Use the Flat height generator in world.ini http://wiki.mc-server.org/doku.php?id=configure:world.ini#height_generators |
