Old wiki - FakeTruth - 12-28-2014

Is the old wiki completely deprecated right now? I mean this one: http://wiki.mc-server.org/
If so, I will remove it

RE: Old wiki - NiLSPACE - 12-28-2014

It does have some pretty good (outdated) info about the world.ini. Maybe we can move it to somewhere else and update it?

RE: Old wiki - FakeTruth - 12-28-2014

Please do, the wiki is getting spammed to death. I already disabled all new user registrations and deleted almost all users to prevent more spam. The pages have accumulated over 1GB of spam data D:

RE: Old wiki - xoft - 12-28-2014

Oh wow. We definitely need to move that. Isn't there a wiki engine over at GitHub?

RE: Old wiki - bearbin - 12-28-2014

Wow! That's insane.

RE: Old wiki - NiLSPACE - 12-28-2014

Ok I got the world.ini page. I'm changing it to work on Github.

RE: Old wiki - NiLSPACE - 12-28-2014

Here it is: https://github.com/mc-server/MCServer/wiki/Configuring-World.ini

It's not perfect yet, so I'll work on it some more.

RE: Old wiki - bearbin - 12-28-2014

Could you perhaps out it in the mcs-book repo?

RE: Old wiki - NiLSPACE - 12-28-2014

@bearbin I didn't think of that. The only problem I might have is that the page would get too big. Just look at the page on github. It's not even complete yet and already rather big.

RE: Old wiki - bearbin - 12-28-2014

You can split it into different sections and link to them, and in the end the manual is not just going to be one page, but many linked together. The code is just more complicated that way and I haven't got around to seperating it.
