Uploading to SVN - rs2k - 10-26-2011 I'd like to add my changes to the code. I every mob except the spider jockey for 1.8. How should I go about doing this? All I've ever done was download from google code. My google account I'll be using for this is admin put in an at sign here to confuse bad bots omencraft.com RE: Uploading to SVN - necavi - 10-26-2011 Well, from what faketruth has said, you can't commit to the google code project unless he adds you to it. You can submit a pull request on the github page though. I've added several files to the source though. Each mob has its own *.cpp and *.h file. They need to be modified. All the passive mobs act like chickens, all the passive-aggressive mobs act like spiders, and all the aggressive mobs act like zombies. It's a start at least. lol. RE: Uploading to SVN - necavi - 10-26-2011 Indeed! You've made a great deal of progress RE: Uploading to SVN - rs2k - 10-26-2011 (10-26-2011, 08:11 AM)necavi Wrote: Indeed! You've made a great deal of progress What I really want to do is start with creative mode support and move on from there. first: Creative Mode Server Security / Data Sanity No particular order: Convert vanilla maps to this map format and vice versa. Plugin to mimic world edit Multi-world support Neather support Redstone Finished Mob AI I want to be able to run all my maps on MCServer http://omencraft.com/dynmap/web/index.html I want a server survivor server, a creative server and an RPG server running on MCServer. :D RE: Uploading to SVN - necavi - 10-26-2011 Well, this is a cuboid plugin, what other features do you need? (I'm aware it definitely doesn't do everything that worldedit does) https://forum.cuberite.org/showthread.php?tid=110 RE: Uploading to SVN - rs2k - 10-26-2011 (10-26-2011, 08:21 AM)necavi Wrote: Well, this is a cuboid plugin, what other features do you need? Add a copy and paste feature, and the ability to work with .schemaitcs files and I'm set. IMO, a project like this needs a good server. Bukkit just doesn't cut it.: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14526521/pie-city.jpg RE: Uploading to SVN - necavi - 10-26-2011 Yeahhh...bukkit is great when compared to vanilla minecraft, but it is still very much based on notch's code. Well, Bukkit is a wrapper for vanilla minecraft. Almost no difference or changes to Notch's software hardcode-wise other than the plugin system. RE: Uploading to SVN - necavi - 10-26-2011 They do have a habit of fixing most of his major vanilla bugs, but they can't really affect performance as much as one would like. |
