Moving MCServer to Cuberite Server - bearbin - 05-16-2015

I think the time has come to actually start this process.

Here's a document with all of the steps that would need to be carried out: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qzSE_UHeUHHKsa03I7AbA7oNKO0ZLV0dUcVB7FAX1g8/edit?usp=sharing

If everyone's happy with it, this weekend I'm going to move all the repositories that are in the cuberite organisation ATM over to the mc-server repository ready for a rename in the future. This shouldn't cause too much disruption and no services should be impacted.

We can progress with more changes in the future.

With bearbin

But not at all.
I mean, I want a name change, but Cuberite doesnt like me a lot. Any ideas out there?

The first bit of change is only preparing for #1464, and nothing more. From that issue it seemed that everybody seemed in consenus that the organisation should change name.

To clarify: the organisation will be renamed to Cuberite, but the server will remain MCS.

RE: Moving MCServer to Cuberite Server - jan64 - 05-17-2015

I don't really like Cuberite as a name, but i do agree that name change would be a good thing.

RE: Moving MCServer to Cuberite Server - bearbin - 05-17-2015

The transfers I had planned for this weekend are cancelled, as they are unnecessary.
