Newbie needs help - henkepenke - 06-08-2015

Hi, I just installed my first MCserver on a RPi 2 and it runs well with one user using it.

In this thread you describe how to enable game mode change. But I do not get how to do it and need more assistance.

From the FAQ
Q: How can I make myself operator
A: You can use the rank <playername> command in the console, or use the webadmin IF you have the core plugin installed. The core plugin is installed by default, but can be disabled. Note that you need to enable webadmin first - edit the webadmin.ini file and add a username and password to be used for access.
You can find a list of available ranks in the console using listranks

My Qs;
Can I make my MC-user admin off the server?
How do I access the server via the webadmin?

Thx for your help and making a MCserver that runs well on RPi

Can I make my MC-user admin off the server?
Yes, just do the exact same thing that you would in the console example, just make sure that you're OP'd when you do it.

How do I access the server via the webadmin?
First, set up an admin login by editing the webadmin.ini file in the server root directory and add this:
[User:*Insert username here*]
Password=*Password for user here*

Then, connect to the webserver by typing the IP address of the server in your web browser and append :8080 at the end of it. You should now be met with an MCServer screen with a login button near the left-top.
