That is most unfortunate. But I suppose we can fix the roof to match the rim.

I don't think that's possible either. I just checked and the stairs are the only way to get the textures on there. Even an upside-down slab doesn't have it.

I thought there was a half-slab variant of each of the sandstone designs.

I think it was there at some point, but was removed for some reason.
