It takes a lot more than that.
To create an APK you need the Android SDK, a proper version of Eclipse that works with the Android SDK. And for compiling MCServer you need the Android NDK and Cygwin.

I managed to generate a flat world, and I can poll the server from the server list.
Joining doesn't seem to work
I get timed out!
