Can't compile Windows 8 - NiLSPACE - 10-28-2012
so i just installed the full version of windows 8 and i immediately installed microsoft visual express 2008 and tortoiseSVN but i can't compile it.
wait i think i installed the wrong microsoft visual :S

That's the Visual Basic edition, not Visual C++. You need the C++ edition.
<sarcasm> and I don't think you'll be able to compile Windows 8 in the Express version, not to mention - where did you get the sources?

yes i also tried the 2012 version of microsoft visual but i get a error with that one to but its a diffrent kind of error. luckely i get this .htm file with it with the errors:
UpgradeLog.htm (Size: 64.76 KB / Downloads: 469)
also the 2012 version says that the MCServer project inside the soltion is incompatible:
