Freelance for an opensource plugin - DubstepCraig - 12-06-2012

Hello,

I run a popular minecraft server and desperately want to switch from craftbukkit to mc-server because of the huge performance difference.

I also want to promote mc-server.org as this should be used instead of craftbukkit as I think it should never have been coded in Java. (Silly EvilSeph)

Anyways, I'm looking for a person or some people to recreate and maintain the popular bukkit plugins in LUA for mc-server. I have a budget of $50 per plugin (maybe more). I'd rather you thought of it as a donation rather than a freelance as I want it to be open-source rather than private. These plugins NEED to be developed in order to make this server type usableTongue

The plugins are:
- Multiworld Management - Create worlds, change world properties [pvp enabled, spawn monsters disabled etc]
- Survival Games (same as the bukkit plugin) -
- World Guard (same as the bukkit plugin) -

I would really appreciate some help with this, I could try to put some input into the programming, I really want to see this project go big.

Thanks,
DubstepCraig.

Cool idea, I wonder how many people are willing to do this.

Maybe you should elaborate on your plugins though (or post a link to the bukkit versions)

Writing plugins is one thing, but what MCServer actually needs to get more popular is having more vanilla stuff implemented.

yep I agree but to get this moving we need both stable main dev team and plugin dev's this is the way MC should be resource friendly.
