[HELP!] MCServer Application Error - nicholaslimck - 03-12-2011

Whenever I start the MCServer.exe, an error stating:

'The spplication was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application'

Any idea what the heck's going on here? I've tried opening the .exe multiple times, rebooting my computer and reinstalling Visual C++ 2010. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit, if that helps.

RE: [HELP!] MCServer Application Error - Tim - 03-13-2011

try running in compatibility mode? and run as adminstrator

RE: [HELP!] MCServer Application Error - nicholaslimck - 03-13-2011

I'll try running in compatibility mode. As for admin rights I disabled UAC on my computer so it runs as admin auto.

EDIT: Nope, compatibility mode doesn't work.

Yes, I had the x64 version. Doesn't matter now, I've decided to use a Bukkit server instead. Thanks for the replies, anyways!
