Linux build error! (please help!) - tonibm19 - 03-26-2013 I have this version of MCServer: http://ci.berboe.co.uk:8080/job/MCServer%20Linux-x86/152/ when i put ./MCServer to execute it, it gives me the following error: ./MCServer: /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory I have Centos5 32 bit Please help me! My bukkit server eats a lot of RAM, and I want MCServer. RE: Linux build error! (please help!) - bearbin - 03-26-2013 Sorry about that, my computer refuses to cross-compile. I'll try it again soon, but for the moment it only works on x86-64 and ARM. RE: Linux build error! Can you tell me what compiler do you use and what OS you use to compile? Thanks RE: Linux build error! (please help!) - bearbin - 03-26-2013 I use debian and G++ however, i just got it to work, the build up there atm should work. RE: Linux build error! (please help!) - xoft - 03-26-2013 Let me warn you early enough. If you use Bukkit, you will be quite disappointed with MCServer. Yes, it eats a lot less CPU and RAM, but doesn't have all those fancy features. Currently MCServer is good enough for a creative build server, but definitely not for a survival one. Massive-multiplayer is questionable - it's technically possible but gameplay will most probably be too boring. |
