I just found a terrible bug in the Anvil saving code, thanks to Kretol: https://github.com/mc-server/MCServer/issues/1730
The bug can cause the server to lose chunk data in specific situations. I recommend that you update your servers to a fixed version ASAP, in order to prevent the possibility of data loss.

It's broken. And if I try to download from Visual Studio official page it says my OS (w7) is not compatible.

Which Edition are you trying to download? You need the Visual studio for Windows Desktop which is compatible with widows 7 not Visual Studio for Windows.
