Android tests
That ndk-build doesn't work is probably because you didn't set up your PATH variable (it's missing from the tutorial, and wasn't/am still not sure if this is needed).
You could try opening up "C:\cygwin\home\<username>\.bash_profile" and add to the bottom of that file:
Code:
PATH="/cygdrive/d/android-ndk-r8/:${PATH}"
or whatever your path to the android NDK is.

If that doesn't work you could try calling the ndk-build executable directly from the MCServer/Android directory

As for the Eclipse error, you could try doing a "Refresh"

Try "Clean"ing the project

And clear android lint markers

I have no idea if any of these things will fix it

Sometimes I look up to see if I'll be a new apk.

Alas, I find myself in the same boat without the building-experience. I have small Android devices that are ideal for always-on, headless servers, but the builds seem neglected and there's not enough attention for the community. I'd almost want to go pimping the project on Reddit and elsewhere, but not sure if the community-operators and site-owner(s) feel it's ready for prime time.

Android MC-Server has such tremendous potential. Pity to see it neglected.

isn't it time for a new official Apk? since the world generation and the API changed allot.

If a new build materializes I'll fire up the MiniPC and take it for a spin ...

Also, is there any procedural sheet for qa'ing? I'd volunteer a bit of weekly time for testing, if it would be useful ...

Isn't it time to release MCServer on the Play Store? since you can now have limited worlds, and you can configure almost everything including the world.ini(s) with the webadmin.

Is it stable?

I'm hesitant to release MCServer on the Play Store because people are oblivious to what they are installing and it can be somewhat 'damaging' to their device because MCServer runs in the background (I think, not sure) and it generates a shitload of data.

Just make the very first thing large red letters that say read this before installing. Then explain that this is a test its for development only its not ready you dont recommend using it for daily use and that it could damage the device. That covers you and if anyone is stupid and ignores it that is their fault. The market would be nice for the auto updates i use it a lot on my ext sd card for having a mobile server i can drag around with me. I have yet to run into any errors either which has been nice.
