The converter appears to be working now. It takes all mcr files in the directory region and converts them to pak files in the directory world. I'm running a full test but converting an entire map now. I'll upload the new code when it's done.
It takes about 20 seconds per 1024 chunks (region) to convert. It's over 15 times faster than the PHP code.
The converter has a memory leak I need to find. Probably just something I forgot to delete.
It seems to work. One chunk out of about 73,000 caused an error message, but it may have just been a corruption mcr file.
Come check it out the converted map at omencraft.com (default port).
