'undefined reference' error when compiling on gcc 4.4.5

It took that long the second and third times too. After turning the server off and restarting, I now can't join at all. I first get this:

And then this:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::out_of_range'
what(): basic_string::erase

Server then shuts off.
