Seems like a misconfiguration, those errors are because MSVS is trying to compile the server in unicode mode, instead of ansi.

There is only unicode and "Multi-Byte Character Set" in MSVC 15 pre atm

Yay! Just finished my last exam (24 pages)!
I hope to be able to seriously learn some programming this summer, or at least learn sqlite.
And I will also work on essentials, which is a bit out of work now.

Can travis to be changed to use clang 3.6? It's using clang 3.4.

Not easily. We'd have to set up to repository to point at 15.04, and then install it at the beginning of each build like we do with gcc.
