Grass wont grow

Hello all,
Love MCServer. I use it on my raspberry pi since vanilla lags quite a bit. This works perfectly. However, I do not think grass will grow on dirt blocks. Any ideas why?

That's weird. It should work. Quite some time ago we even had some lagg due to it.
