Anyone else have timeouts when joining?

The server was doing exactly the same thing it does when working properly - waiting for comm from the client and housekeeping the world.

Do you think you could run ProtoProxy next to it and try connecting through it? The sources for ProtoProxy are in $/trunk/ProtoProxy; I have put compiled binaries in http://mc-server.xoft.cz/ProtoProxy/ .
