How long does the newest build take to compile on a raspberry pi?

Im sitting here waiting for it to complete...for 3 hours....and its still not done...FML
its overclocked to 1000Mhz....

- How long should this take??

I think this depends greatly on the SD card speed. On my Pi, even without overclocking, it used to take about 2 hours to compile.

Do you mean 1000MHz?
'Cause I have heard that a very high overclock on the Pi can make it actually use a low frequency.
