I wondered. I've just checked and there's no binary distribution for Go available for ARM architecture, so it's not something I could put on a Raspberry Pi very easily. Thanks for the suggestion though!

It's packaged for raspi, otherwise you can use godeb using an old version - http://floaternet.com/golang/godeb

Alternatively, just compile yourself, it's fairly easy.
