Nether Portals behaving unexpectedly - advice please?
#1
Hello,

I'm new to MC server, but have run other minecraft servers before.

I've just compiled and run MC server on my new Raspberry Pi (and I'm impressed - very quick, and seems to work well), however...

Nether portals are behaving in an odd fashion and I'm not sure if this is intentional or not. Constructing a nether portal in a brand new world, does take me to the nether, but does not generate a corresponding portal in the nether - just dumps me there and leaves me to sort out my own. If I then construct a portal in the nether, and go back to the overworld, I end up a little away from where I made the first portal (but again, no portal is generated).

Advice appreciated! Smile

Yes, the portal code is unfortunately not yet finished, so it behaves in this weird way for the time being. I believe it has already been reported in the Github issue list.
