[?] Join server with C++

Question
Hello, I was trying to make a console application in c++ to chat in Minecraft servers but I couldn't figure out how to join the server, spawn a player and receive/send chat messages so I just quitted the project (and deleted/lost it, it was a while ago). Someone said to take a look at http://wiki.vg/Protocol but it didn't really help...
So can someone who has time maybe give a quick example? I only need the part of sending stuff to the mc server, included the required library's, #includes, #defines etc part for how to do it...

Thanks for helping if you did :D
No hate comments etc pls :(

I'm afraid we only do the server-side stuff. Perhaps look at one of these clients: http://wiki.vg/Client_List
