new user help please

hi all

have setup up raspberry pi debian bullseye 64 bit lite operating system and install cubrite 

all is well and cubrite appears to be running. but hen i go into java minecraft on the pc just comes back with

unsupported protocol version 758
try conecting with mincraft 1.8.x-1.12.x

this was with version 1.19.3 so downloaded ver 1.18.2 but still get the same error

webadmin on port 8080 is working ok

help!

Hi,

I am sorry you are experiencing problems using Cuberite!

Since the error message regards protocol version 758 this indicates that the client is 1.18.2 so you need to change the client version to make it work. Not 1.18 BUT 1.08!!!

so just for reference all is ok but cuberite doesn't support 1.19.3? .. what is the lastest version it does support ?

The last supported version is 1.12, it even says so in the error message.

thanks its now working.

one thing tho how do you get the ,pi to autoboot on satrtup into cuberite? its only going to be a internal server so not worried about permissions etc
