Hello,

I think this would enhance the survival gameplay, if that would be added.
Gamerule

For example the option keepInventory is a nice feature.
I have looked for a easy way to save inventories. If the player dies, but I think something like that, would be much better.

A few of the options in a plugin would be possible, but not all.


Out-topic: I run 'cmake .' under windows and get this: xxd not found, changes to tolua scripts will be ignored

Not important. We will get rid of it eventually, but for now you can rest in comfort that you don't need this. It's only ever needed if you actually changed anything in the ToLua++ parser (the thing that generates bindings between C++ and lua).

Can you be a bit more specific on the gamerule? What is it? I haven't seen it yet, what does it do?

Our main developers don't really play Minecraft, and yet they're making a pretty good server for it. Learning on the job, I see.
