Random Chitchat 2012-2016
Just tell me what to run and I'll do it.

Also a sneak-preview what I just did:

length: 51:22
size (raw): 17,9 GB

I would like to point out that a Bukkit server would take x100 as much RAM.

My daughter's Bukkit server needed a 32GB i7 system for a dozen or so players.

@worktycho: The most interesting would be trying this on an ARM, as that's a completely different architecture. And then perhaps some lower-spec AMD with much less cache. These would be interesting.

@xoft Thats what i was thinking but didn't say. It would also be interesting to see a high spec intel as if it has enough cache it could avoid the penelty of a_size misses.

@LO1ZB checkout the noisetest branch from the repo then run
Code:
cd tests/NoiseTest && make && ./NoiseTest

One friend wants to sell me an used RasPi B + sd class 10 + case
for 45€. I think its too expensive. What do you think?

@FakeTruth may I use the forum header in thumbnail?

I hope the processing from YouTube won't take to long.
Thanks given by:
@tonibm19: depends. For me it would be a good price compared to local resellers, who sell a new RasPiB alone for about this price. The transport and local taxes make it quite a bit more expensive than elsewhere.

In Spain I can get a first-hand pi + starter kit for 50€ so I guess my friend's offer is bad.

Anyway, I'll better wait for the Pi 2 (which is not avaliable in Spain yet)
