Random Chitchat 2012-2016
currently Plugins can't block a player from opening a chest/door/furnace. can that be added?
Thanks given by:
Shouldn't that be possible with HOOK_PLAYER_USING_BLOCK ? That's what the hook is for, so I'd expect that to work.

yes it worked thanks Smile

MCServer crashes Sad once again here are the PDB's, Logs, Crashdumps(high detailed) and the .exe file http://www.mediafire.com/?cya7zsjahy5il7s

Why can't you put that in the flyspray bug report?

I've already put the previous one there for you, but I won't be doing that forever. Here it'll just rot away without anyone actually looking at it.

is it possible to compile MCServer as a 64bit program? and if it is possible, would it be much faster or not?
Thanks given by:
It has never been tried on Windows (VS2008 Express doesn't include 64-bit compiler), but I cannot think of any reason why it shouldn't work. I even think that by default it is compiled as 64-bit under 64-bit linuxes.

On the other hand, it's probably not gonna be much faster. But you wouldn't know unless you tried.

in VS2008 in Project/Properties/Configuration Properties/Linker/Advanced there is Target Machine set to MachineX86(/MACHINE:X86) but when i set it to MachinelA64(/MACHINE:lA64) i get an error when compiling. or should i install VS2010 once again and try to compile it?
Thanks given by:
VS2008 Express has the settings, but not the compiler needed (so that it can open VS2008 Pro solutions without problems, but still cannot compile them. I think even in 2010 Express there's no 64-bit compiler but am not sure.
You can download and install standalone 64-bit compiler from MS, but that comes without any IDE. But maybe it can at least build VS solution files easily, no idea.

oh, it seems possible, see here:
