even the latest revision *should* support 1.2.5 clients as well. The protocol version is auto-detected and the correct version should be used. Note, however, that no-one has actually tested this backward compatibility lately. Also note that the server description need not be displayed properly in the 1.2.5 client, this is due to protocol changes.
