I'm thinking that we should have a mailing list or some sort of push-style notification.
So people could choose to subscribe and then get emailed important notifications and updates on MCServer.
Does anybody disagree with this idea? Otherwise, I'll start getting it set up very soon.

Why not make the Website a real Bog like Mojang has for Minecraft. We could publish things there

I guess you could, but there still needs to be some type of push notifications instead of pull. I'd say that can come later, the mailing list first.

We could combine the two things. I think WordPress has a function for sending emails for every post you make.

Why not use the full name? "cube-mailing" feels too unofficial.

It's just a shortname. Once you put the cname in I can change the url to the newsletter.cuberite.org
