I think that purple is a weird color for a rocket
 , yellow is more suitable in my opinion

In my opinion and from design point of view, you should overthink the whole color scheme. Try using fresher, greenish colors.

Hopefully we can all agree on a background soon.It would be the best if the background was quite small (a pattern) and not very distracting. A CSS3 background would also be nice, if possible.
I'll do some work on this one again today.
 Going to experiment with some blur.
