There has been a issue made for the bucket problem,
Seems somebody is working on a correct fix as well, so we should see it fixed soon .

Also i did some testing, if i remove the wait time for the grow sapling, it works perfectly, but have not yet tested on the raspi.

Edit:
What are things that are currently on your todolist ? if i may ask .
Also aint schematic perhaps a good solution ? might even save time, as it wont have to generate a tree etc.

Note: MCServer has no support for inventory blocks in schematic files at the moment, the items will get added to the player inventory if a schematic file exists, if not then the default island will be used.
