I've read somewhere that those Android-on-a-stick PCs can be actually turned into a normal linux box (mostly Ubuntu) and people have succeeded in running the vanilla java server on it. Maybe that could help you more for the time being. Unfortunately I don't have any pointers anymore, you'll need to google it all up again.
