How do I open ports on a Netgear router for a MC server?
#2
You will need to go to "Firewall Rules" which is under "security".

Check this site: http://portforward.com/ and find your router for further help.

Just 2 things:
1) I don't advise hosting a server long term on a residential line - doing so increases your chance of becoming the victim of a hacker or DDoS attack (I'm sure you know about these) - also with residential lines being slower than corporate lines, it will mean your server could be slow and laggy.

2) I don't mean to sound like a dick here but if from that tutorial you cant figure out how to forward ports, you probably shouldn't be in the routers configTongue

Good luck Smile
