I'd like to see a plugin that allows connecting the chat to a IRC channel.

What it should have:

- Logging in feature
- Colour support
- Execute commands from IRC
- Execute commands from IRC only for Operator

This is not gonna happen too soon, we don't have networking support for plugins. And using LuaSocket is not advised, because the calls in the library are mostly blocking, so it won't work well with the server.
