Question About Inventory at Death

Sorry if this was asked somewhere else but is it possible to make it to where a user doesn't lose their inventory at death?

Unfortunately this is hardcoded into the server right now. A plugin could be made that would remember the inventory just before the player dies, blocks the pickups from spawning and when the player respawns, sets their inventory back to the state before death. It's not ideal, but it'll work for most of the cases.
