How can I insert a new line in the description from the file settings.ini?

Does normal Minecraft even allow having multiple lines in the server description? Or are you confusing the server description with the motd?

The motd is the message you get when you log in on the server, the server description is the message you see in the server list.

In normal Minecraft you can use \n to add a line break in the server description.
