Function to get water flowing direction?

Hey, I wondered wheather there is already a function to get the direction of a water flow.

I created an own one, but it isn´t very reliable.


For example: Waterblock (8|19|29) and get X+, Z+, X-, Z-, Y- or something like that

Well I don't really understand the water simulation in MCServer, I just copy pasted it from a Lua plugin that simulated it. It doesn't have the exact same behaviour as the original Minecraft water either

Mhh I also don´t fully understand it. Do you still know the plugin? Then i might look wheather there is a function like this

I commited my own function for the first, because it´s better than nothing but i don´t know how to improve it
