It was basically working with one weird crafting issue yet to be resolved, but I never got a response as to which approach we should take regarding storing extra metadata.

I think the Json way makes the most sense for us.

I wrote my idea from plugin side in https://forum.cuberite.org/thread-2626-p...l#pid27927. A way to access and manipulate nbt data from plugin side would be good and cJson is a good idea.
